Fear of Not Being Enough

When you’re overwhelmed, the brain shifts into threat mode and becomes more self-critical. Fear of not being enough often intensifies because the nervous system is overloaded, not because you’re failing. The feeling reflects exhaustion, not truth.


Overwhelm narrows perspective. Small setbacks feel personal, and rest can trigger guilt. This is when inner pressure often replaces external demands.
