About the music:
A calming Solfeggio 396 Hz journey with spacious piano and layered ambient textures, and delta wave, created to support emotional release, deep relaxation, meditation, and inner calm.
Release Fear 396 Hz builds a slow-moving soundscape around the solfeggio tone of the same name, layering spacious piano lines over ambient textures. Addition of a sleep inducing Delta wave is present throughout.
This frequency traces back to solfège, the medieval singing system attributed to the eleventh-century monk Guido d'Arezzo. The idea of assigning specific emotional effects to nine particular frequencies, 396 Hz among them, is a much newer addition, one that took shape in sound healing circles later in the twentieth century rather than in Guido's original teaching. Within that later tradition, 396 Hz is associated with easing guilt, fear, and grief, and with generating a more motivated, settled state of mind. It's also often paired with the root chakra, the energy centre linked to a sense of safety and groundedness. These are associations drawn from sound healing practice rather than settled scientific findings, but they give the tone its particular reputation among the people who reach for it.
Steady, unhurried music like this tends to give an anxious or overwhelmed mind something constant to hold onto instead of something to react to. Our wider collection for anxious, overwhelmed states gathers more of that same approach if this track resonates with you.
